Hasharon Veterinary Center is one of the few veterinary hospitals in Israel to offer extensive treatments not only for dogs and cats but also for birds. Staff member Dr. Shlomit Levy is one of the only Israeli veterinarians who devotes 100% of her practice to avian medicine. She also wrote a detailed book on raising parrots (published by Hakibbutz Hame'uhad Press ).
The center offers internal medicine and hospitalization services for parrots, and also performs surgery on parrots and other birds.

On site is a grooming facility for dogs and cats, headed by a groomer certified in England. The salon also provides beauty baths and medical baths for treatment of various skin conditions.
At your service is quality pet food for healthy pets and prescription diets medical food for sick pets, as well as flea and tick products.

The Staff |
Dr. Kobi Tenenboim
Graduated from Bologna University in Italy in 1980.
After graduation, he traveled to California and passed the American licensing exams.
Dr. Tenenboim worked for several years in a hospital that specializes in soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery, and headed several veterinary hospitals, in which he served as head surgeon.
In 1992 he returned to Israel. Dr. Tenenboim has a special interest in orthopedic surgery and endoscopic exams, and also accepts referrals from other veterinarians for endoscopies in dogs and cats. |

Dr. Shlomit Levy
Graduated with honors from Bologna University in Italy.
She worked in California as a veterinarian for dogs and cats, and has acquired extensive experience in treating birds. Dr. Levy has a special interest s in parrot and bird medicine, and also treats reptiles and some rodents.
Dr. Levy lectures in numerous seminars and is a guest lecturer at Rehovot's Koret School of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, she manages a forum on parrots and birds on PETNET. To enter the forum, click here
She is one of the only Israeli veterinarians to treat parrots.
She wrote two books, both are considered one of a kind in Israel:
"The Parrot Book - the Complete Guide for Raising Parrots"
and:
"The parrot book 2: Parrots behaviour and breeding in captivity"

Dr. Doron Talmor
Dr. Talmor has always known he wanted to become a veterinarian. He graduated from Kosice University in Slovakia in 2000.
During his studies, he trained in surgery at a hospital in Tarzana, California.
Dr. Talmor has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and dermatology.

Dr. Inbar Razon
Graduate of the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine in the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem, class of 2003. She specializes in surgery,
neurology, dermatology and ophthalmology. |

Dganit Rosenberg-Weiss
Dganit is an experienced assistant, who has been working in the center for
over eight years.
Dganit divides her day between her work as an assistant and her work as a
dog groomer. Dganit specialized in grooming in London, and is skilled in
unique styles for various breeds as well as summer cuts.

Ynon Hadar
Ynon expresses his great love for animals by working in the center as a full-time assistant. He is responsible for the well-being of the hospitalized animals and
helps with routine treatments and surgeries.

Tomer Halali
Tomer is a full-time veterinary assistant. After completing his military service
he has decided to focus on working with animals and today he assists the
veterinarians in the center in looking after the hospitalized animals and
monitoring during surgeries. |
